What is IACE?
The International Association for Continuing Education and Training (IACE) is a professional association that promotes continuing education and training worldwide. IACE also provides research, information, and resources on continuing education and training.
The International Academic Community Engagement (IACE) program is a semester-long exchange program that allows students to take courses at another institution and receive academic credit toward their degree at their home institution. IACE is designed for students who are interested in expanding their academic horizons and gaining international experience.
IACE is an acronym for the International Association of Collegiate Educators. This organization provides the structure by which participating colleges and universities can offer their students the opportunity to study abroad while still receiving credit toward their degree at their home institution.
There are two types of IACE programs:
1. Study Abroad: These programs allow students to take courses at a foreign institution and receive credit towards their degree at their home institution.
2. Internship: These programs place students in an internship position with a company or organization abroad. Students will work closely with a mentor at the host organization and will also complete coursework related to their internship experience.
IACE programs are available in many different countries and offer a wide variety of course options. For more information, please visit the IACE website or contact your home institution’s study abroad office.
